-
- I stopped using WinTalk because of this, and now notice it happening with
- the Trumpet Newreader, especially if I delay a few days in reading news
- and numerous articles have expired. The symptoms are that the SD and RD
- lights on the modem appear to be flashing alternately and then I switch to
- the Winsock window and see the "TCP reentrancy poll" message scrolling
- on the screen.
-
- Stopping Winsock and restarting doesn't seem to help, in that as soon as
- the window is opened, the error message starts all over again. I have to
- exit Windows (generally I take the opportunity to reboot the machine at
- this time).
-
- This happened sporadically with the release version of Winsock, and
- even more with the beta.
