  39. I stopped using WinTalk because of this, and now notice it happening with
  40. the Trumpet Newreader, especially if I delay a few days in reading news
  41. and numerous articles have expired.  The symptoms are that the SD and RD
  42. lights on the modem appear to be flashing alternately and then I switch to
  43. the Winsock window and see the "TCP reentrancy poll" message scrolling 
  44. on the screen.

  46. Stopping Winsock and restarting doesn't seem to help, in that as soon as
  47. the window is opened, the error message starts all over again.  I have to
  48. exit Windows (generally I take the opportunity to reboot the machine at
  49. this time).

  51. This happened sporadically with the release version of Winsock, and 
  52. even more with the beta.
